QAPA provides a safe space for individuals of Asian and Asian-Pacific Islander descent or mixed heritage who are LGBTQI. We do not tolerate expressions of bigotry, hatred, harassment or abuse, nor will we tolerate threats of harm. Because we encourage discussion and exchange of ideas, we do not allow threatening, defamatory, abusive, or tasteless statements. For the same reason, we do not allow sexually explicit material in conversations, titles, topics, or nicknames.
QAPA is a social organization, not a dating service. Soliciting for romantic or sexual activity is prohibited.
Posting or transmitting of unauthorized or unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, or any other forms of solicitation to other members is not allowed. If you are an agent of another organization and promoting an event/conference/panel/etc, it must represent or be specifically inclusive of the queer API community, or it may be removed from the message boards. Repeated violation of this will lead to removal of your membership.
Your right to speak freely here must be exercised with courtesy and self-restraint. We cannot guarantee the content of comments that you will receive and from time to time, you may find other people's comments offensive, harmful or inaccurate.
We encourage members not to give out personal information or passwords to anyone.
We do not allow any illegal activities. Specifically, we won't let you advocate illegal conduct or participate in illegal or fraudulent schemes. You cannot use our boards to distribute unauthorized copies of copyrighted material, including photos, artwork, text, recordings, designs, or computer programs. In addition, we do not allow the trading or swapping of images that are sexually explicit, obscene or vulgar.
Members who violate these guidelines will be banned from using the Meetup. We reserve the right to immediately terminate or suspend access to our services for conduct that we believe interferes with other people's enjoyment. We also reserve the right to amend or change these guidelines at any time and without notice. If you have questions about our guidelines, or need to report a violation, please contact us.
