Can't say I claim to know a lot about it. But the ability to collect and monitor previously "unharvestable" data about oneself, activities, communications, environment, and behaviors seems really interesting.
I've built prototypes of handheld assistive devices for people with vision and hearing impairments. I've also worked with 3D time of flight cameras for motion capture as well as a variety of sensors such as gyros, accelerometers, sonar, etc.

I'm interested in pervasive computing, telerobotics, wearable devices, and sensors. Most of my career has been as a tech/business researcher, but now I do a lot of work with software, electronics, and prototypes.
Great group, highly recommended.
