Measuring and logging quantifable attributes about one self, usually for the purpose of striving to better one self, but sometimes just for curiosity.
I'm a technical analyst (following the stock market using historcal data to forcast future moves). I'm also a CycleFit instructor and do cardio activities at least 3x per week and I always wear a Garmin monitor (GPS location and heart rate recording) then dump the data to my PC when done (logged over 900,000 calories burned in the last 6 years). I also like to log other life stuff to keep me on track and have designed many different log sheets and calendars.

Always very intersting. You never know what you're going to hear about, but every meeting I alway get some useful tidbit that left me feeling it was well worth my time to attend.
