Data is knowledge, understanding that data leads to a better, faster and stronger you. Measuring our energy output allows us to achieve results and its the constant progression in the direction of our goals that guarantees achievement.
Being a fitness professional who has been involved in fitness startups, I have been constantly monitoring the tech landscape for activity tracking innovations that help us get to where we want to be quicker and with greater efficiency. My current interests are in bridging the gap between these fitness devices and fitness clubs. Ie the quantified self meets the quantified fitness club.
Currently using the Nike fuel band and also following the developments at the MIT Wocket Sensor Labs
