Do you do any self-tracking of your movements? Do you use a pedometer, accelerometer, sports watch, Fitbit, Philips DirectLife, Nike+? Are you willing to share your methods/process/conclusions/advice?
We are experimenting with a new format for the next QS Show&Tell and we need your help.
The first hour of the Show&Tell iis going to be a casual workshop on Motion Tracking. This is an experiment, and it will only work if you share your work. No formal presentation necessary - just bring your projects to show and discuss. We will have tables set up for your laptops, and plenty of electrical outlets. Our goal is to encourage more informal exchange, make room for more projects, and just experiment with making the QS Show&Tell meetings more fun and interesting for everybody.
Of course you are also welcome to come without a project, just to learn and socialize. Following the workshop, we will have short presentations on a range of topics, as before.
This is a regular show and tell for people taking advantage of various kinds of personal tracking - geotracking, life-logging, DNA sequencing, etc. - to gain more knowledge about themselves. Come share what you are doing, and learn from others. Topics include, but are not limited to:
Chemical Body Load Counts
Personal Genome Sequencing
Digitizing Body Info
Sharing Health Records
