I love real paper, but I confess to be reading more and more on my Kindle. You can't beat it for convenience although I understand there have been studies that indicate a deficit in actual retention using digital readers. I DESPERATELY MISS BOOKSTORES. They were places to browse and get ideas. Books often called out to me and insisted to be read. Unexpected choices. It's different than knowing what you want and ordering it online... and then having some computer determine similarities you might like. The whole kinaesthetic (sp) experience is gone.
Lorrie Moore's Birds of America; SPIN, the history of PR; And three books by Masters and Johnson because I'm writing on a show about them.
Hi -- I'm a writer and looking for friends who like to read.
