Hi all,
So, to recap, those of us at the Normal Life discussion opted not to decide on the next meetup's book at that point, but rather to brainstorm and reconvene digitally. So I wanted to open up this discussion for people to put forward book possibilities; based on your input I'll make a poll so we can determine January's book. Some of the possibilities put forward during the meeting (we may have been primed by the topic of that discussion!) were "The Trouble with Normal", "The Golden Gulag", "Captive Genders", and "Terrorist Assemblages". Add your ideas below! Thanks,
Ian

Hi Everyone, I've been out of town for the past few months, so have not had a chance to attend a meeting yet, but am hoping to soon. I read the sad news that José Esteban Munoz died a few days ago at age 46. He's the author of Cruising Utopia, Queer Futurity, and Disidentifications: Queers of Color and the Performance of Politics. It would be great to read one of these in the group at some point (maybe his first, Disidentifications?)
