R and KNIME: The best of two worlds.

We are very pleased to have Michael Berthold, "arguably the author of the first line of KNIME code and the fearless scientific leader," who will give a quick introduction to KNIME before showing a number of examples highlighting the strength of the two platforms: sophisticated analysis and graphics on one side and visual modeling of data and tool integration on the other end. I will also briefly discuss other community extensions to KNIME enabling KNIME to process documents, images, molecules and other data types.
