Rabbit Adoption Day at AniMall
Come out to AniMall at the Outlet Mall in Morrisville to support local rabbit rescues, meet other rabbit owners and talk to potential rabbit owners about our favorite pets!
Four rescue groups have signed on to bring adoptable rabbits to this education and adoption event. Please spread the word to your friends with rabbits and anyone you know who would make a good rabbit parent! (A poster you can print and post ... or send by email ... has been uploaded to our "Files" section. See the left hand side of the page for the link.)
The day's events will include activities for both current and future rabbit owners including:
* Information and discussion on rabbit care, grooming, feeding, litter box training, bonding, etc.
* Clicker training demonstration (1 and 3 p.m.) -- Learn how to train your rabbit!
* Litter box training presentation (2 p.m.) -- Learn about the different options in boxes and litters.
* Cube cage construction demonstration (4 p.m.) -- Learn how to make one of these great cages for your rabbit.
* Rabbit gift basket raffle. Enter to win a basket of goodies for your rabbit! All proceeds benefit rabbit rescue.
* Silent auction for a cube cage. You must be present to bid on this ideal rabbit habitat.
The event will run from noon until 6 p.m. When you RSVP, please indicate which time slot you will attend: noon-2 p.m., 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. or 4 p.m.-6 p.m. You can sign up for more than one!

Chad and Jeanette StansburyGreat event! Jeanette and I had a nice time seeing everyone again. Plus our Cape Fear HRS foster bun Teddy was adopted! It was great to see everyone help the frustrated bunny Mom too - maybe a lower cost neuter will help keep another bun from becoming abandoned.

Bonnie Pulver+1 guestI really had a nice time. It was great to meet all of you. I had an ideal spot to set up my area in, with plenty of room. Everyone was wonderful. AniMall is very open with lots of room. I didn't feel crowded. I felt very comfortable. The amount of traffic pleased me because they were all there to look at the bunnies. In other words, it wasn't pass through traffic. These people had seen the advertising and came for the purpose of seeing the bunnies. I have no complaints and no suggestions to make it better.
