Introduction

My husband Jay and I are bunny parents (slaves) to Luna. I am a biologist and I work with plants, well their DNA anyway. We have had bunnies since 1997.

List your pet rabbits names and briefly describe them.

Luna is a 11 year old dark brown French lop. We have had her since 2002. In 2004 she was diagnosed with EC and has head-tilt. She likes to eat, nap, and take things apart. She is also famous because in January 2007 she was on TV.

How long have you had pet rabbits?

Oatmeal, our first rabbit, was adopted in 1997. He was with us for 9 years and he turned us into rabbit people. He was diagnosed with cancer and after a short battle he went to the bridge on August 13, 2006. We miss him.

Hi Jeanette! I just joined the group and after reading Dawn's message realized that you and I have met before. We had been taking Baby, our head tilt bunny, to Dr. Eckerman for acupuncture and she told us about Luna. I believe you and I met at an adoption event in Raleigh. I hope Luna is doing well. Baby is hanging in there - she has good and bad days, but the acupuncture treatments do seem to keep her going.
