RAFT 101: Coffee Time

What are these RAFT people like, you might ask. Come to our Coffee Time meetup. Get to know us, or get to know us better. If you expect that your opinions may differ from those of a typical RAFT member, don't let that stop you from checking us out. Several of us (if not all) practice the art of amiable disagreement.

Hi Michelle, I believe most RAFT members identify as Atheists, but several identify as Agnostics, Rationalists, Skeptics and a few other terms. Some view the question of god existence as open, but do not think that any Abrahamic kind of god exists. There are a very few "seekers" at our meetings, as far as I can tell. But there are at least a few who come now and then. At any rate, we're friendly and do mostly discussing, not arguing. We're nice and not confrontational. I hope to see you the Coffee. By the way, we do have a few UU's among us.

I'm an unitarian universalist, but am interested in others' paths. Are the majority of RAFT members atheist, or are there others, like myself, who seek a varied spiritual path?
