Bate Papo cada outra Quinta-Feira

We will return to Panera Bread because the food court is not condusive to conversations that require intensive listening skills.  The food court is noisier than Panera Bread and while members are listening to the language they are learning, its important that they can hear what is being said.

Please remember to RSVP so we'll know how many seats to hold for the group.

Bring ideas and suggestions to improve participation. We have almost 500 members, but we don't see most. If you are interested in child friendly events, come to a meeting at the FOOD COURT with your kids and talk to us about what you would like to see on the calendar.

I am looking for someone who lives in an apartment community who has a movie theatre so we can have some movie night meetup events. If you have that and are interested, please come by so we can arrange something.

If you are interested in teaching portuguese to members of our group, please come to one of the FOOD COURT events to share what you are willing to offer.

    Good afternoon,

Diplomatic Language Services, a Washington, DC based company specializing in the provision of language training services, is looking for experienced Portuguese instructors who would be open to teaching opportunities in the DC area. To that end, we are holding a job fair in Raleigh next Thursday, January 30th, where two of my colleagues will be on hand to speak with interested individuals about possible opportunities.

I am thus writing to see if you would be willing to disseminate this information to group members, or if you have any suggestions as to how else to reach the Portuguese-speaking community in the Raleigh area. If you would like the full job fair invitation, please let me know and I will send it to you.

Please let me know if you have any questions, and thank you in advance for any response.

    Kind regards,

    Kate Marden
