Very little. But I love the sound of Portuguese and would like to be able to speak it at least a little when I eventually visit the Alentejo. I have this dream of being a Portuguese cork farmer when I retire. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vu5XgK_Un_g - Here is what the Kansas prarie looks like.
http://www.youtub... - I first learned of the Alentejo because of its cork. I've never seen it in person, but the pictures remind me of the Kansas prairie, where I grew up.
Hi David. I like your start on a sonnet. I added a few more lines. Care to finish it off? :)
When fourteen lines appear upon a page
Deftly placed according to a scheme
Of quatrains two and sestet one, a theme...
Poetry rhyme and meter are all the rage
Should we try to write a poem as a team?
Do we want our poem to sound like a song?
I never knew fourteen lines were so long
We need lots of paper, lets buy a ream
Hey David. Oddly enough, there was no original intention there. What a strange coincidence; thanks for pointing that out.
