Jordan Lake Day Sail and Paddle

Jordan Lake Day Sail AND PADDLE

Saturday, June 15    #BT1301

Join your friends at Jordan Lake for a fun and relaxing day of sailing, canoeing and kayaking.  Bring a picnic lunch, bring the kids, and enjoy the sandy beach at Vista Point for a relaxing day of sailing, paddling and socializing.  This is the perfect event for our new members to make new acquaintances or members to bring a guest that might be interested in joining RSOC.  It is also a great event to spend time with your kids. No experience is necessary and instruction will be available for newcomers to these sports. The only cost for this trip is the $6 State Park entrance fee.

Please sign up in advance. This is a change from the past. If we do not have enough people signed up by Friday, June 14 to help with unloading and loading the boats, the trip will be cancelled. The club boats will be available starting about 11:00 a.m. If no one shows up by 1:00 p.m., the trip will be cancelled. If you are a sailboat owner and would like to share your boat with other club members, please come out and help make the day even more fun.

The forecast on Saturday has 5 MPH wind which is too mild for my sailboat. I may show up with my kayak.

Hello again, I came across a 14ft dolphin/sunfish boat that I have no idea how to use, I can bring it for all to enjoy and maybe get some pointers, or some help for a rookie. Looking to have some fun and let me know if anything else is needed.
    Thanks

Hello! I am new to the group and would like to meet up on your sail and paddle day, I have never sailed but would love to learn. Do I need a boat or equipment? Or can I just show up and help? Any info or guidance would be great! Thanks.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
