Children's Day Mochi-Tsuki Event

The Nippon Club of the Triangle will have a mochi-tsuki event for Children's Day on April 24th.

They will make mochi (Japanese rice-paste) together using traditional techniques, and also craft origami samurai helmets. All are invited to participate, eat, and have fun!

Date & Time: 4/24 (Sat), 12:00 - 3:00pm (rain or shine)
Place: NC Japan Center: 705 Barbour Dr, Raleigh
Fee: Free

    very, very great! talked with lots of people. and o-mochi was very good. lastly, i developed lots of muscles as a result of mochi-pounding.

    the mochi pounding was a great experience. my daughter did it, too. what is even just as cool as the conversations we had...well, i guess you cannot top my daughter helping make them, but the kaiwa is a second, for sure:)

    @Mark: There is no "deadline" posted for registration. But if you can give them a note a day or two in advance it would be helpful.
