Sorry this isn't Japanese related, but my roommate is organizing a 5K race to benefit children with cleft palate/cleft lip. You may know someone who has been affected by this birth defect. The cost is only $15 and you get a cool t-shirt, unlike this lame Carrboro race I did one time where I paid $33 and only got a ridiculous pair of yellow socks. Plus, this money is for a good cause - helping less fortunate families to pay for medical care for their children with cleft palate/lip. It's for the children, people!
