__Rails Authentication Options__

Rails and web based applications in general have a lot of authentication frameworks to chose from. Choosing the right one for your situation can not only be difficult, but have severe consequences if not done properly.

We'll take a look at authentication examples for common Rails applications as well as web service and single sign on authentication examples. This presentation will cover:

* Restful Authentication and Authlogic for common Rails applications
* OAuth for web services
* Castronaut for single sign on and single authentication provider

Aaron Bedra has a strong background in security and works for Relevance doing Ruby/Rails development and training.
