Tuesday Evening Trail Run - All Levels Welcome - No drop run!!

Note: Location changes every week, please check the location in the meetup listing!

Come join us for a single track trail run in Umstead State Park.   We will be meeting in the main parking lot near the restrooms at the end of Harrison Ave. and heading out at 6:15 PM.

This week's route will include Loblolly Trail.  For those that have never run the trail, it's a moderately technical single track (hiking) loop, leading from the Harrison parking lot. For those interested here's a link to the official Umstead Park state map. The run will be ~4 miles, but there are options to lengthen or shorten the run.

We will be stopping and re-grouping every so often, so no runner will get left behind.  It wouldn't be a group run if you were running by yourself!

In order to respect the trails and for safety, the run will be cancelled in the case of a downpour or lightening, so PLEASE be sure to check the posting an hour before start time. If in doubt, you can always call my cell.

Where: Main Reedy Creek entrance in Cary - Harrison Road. Meet in the parking lot by the restrooms/water fountain.

Organizer: Steve C.

Cell: 919/[masked]
Start Time:6:15 PM

Hey Steve! Do the Tues. night runs continue through the summer? I've been working Tues. nights and can't make it out until next month. Thanks, Summer

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
