I am looking forward to running with a fun group and get some consistency in my running. Also choosing a 1/2 marathon this spring so need some training partners. Thanks. Cindy

Where do you jog/run?

Primarily Shelley Lake, Lake Lynn, the New Falls of Neuse Greenway very close to that and it's beautiful.

About how far and how fast are you going?

3-6 miles. 10-11 min. pace

What are your running goals?

Do a 1/2 marathon and improve my 5K and 10K time. I am also interested in the interval training to improve speed and endurance.

By joining Raleigh Trail Runners I agree that I am running & attending events at my own risk & I am completely responsible for myself & any guests I invite. RTR organizers are not responsible or liable. Type "Y" in this field to confirm you agree.

Thanks for the message Cindy. The Neuse River Runs aren't scheduled because they tend to be last minute types of runs (in my case) or for the one or two others who go there they aren't able to post events to the calendar because they are not organizers for the group. Once I'm through with my marathon training (March) I'll be able to post a run there though so keep watching the calendar. :)

Welcome to RTR Cindy! We do a weekly run at Shelley Lake and a couple of us also do regular (non-posted) runs up on the Neuse River Trail as well. Please check out our calendar for events that work for your schedule and I hope to see you on the trail!
