Spring is here! Let's go for a walk/jog in the the Fells. We plan to jog over flat sections and walk over steep or rough terrain, completing a 3-4 mile loop. This won't be a fast run, probably 10-12 minute miles for the running portion, depending on terrain. To keep pace with the group, you should be able to run a 5k at a road pace of 10 minute miles. (Trail running tends to be slower.) If you're faster than the group, you can head out on your own or do some laps.
The plan is to meet at 5:00 and spend 1-1.5 hrs on the trail. You will need to wear good trail shoes and layers to adjust for temperature change. We will meet at the Long Pond parking area on South Border Rd off Mystic Valley Pkway.
