Hiking the White Mountain 4000 Footers (Educational Series)

This is one in a series of presentations that Phillip Werner, a co-organizer with us, will be making this year.

If you're interested in taking your day hiking skills to the next level, climbing all 48 mountains on the White Mountain 4000 footer list is an exciting undertaking and an excellent way for hikers of all ages to learn new outdoor skills. It doesn't matter how old you are or whether you're in shape or not, anyone can climb these peaks with a little inspiration and perseverance. In this talk, Philip Werner will give an overview of the 4000 footer peaks, explain the gear and skills you need to learn, and discuss several different strategies for climbing them.

While you can sign-up here on our site to coordinate with other randomites you will need to register for the class by visiting the REI event page by clicking here. Attendance is free.
