Randi is a new organizer with the group and is a graduate of the AMC's Outdoor Leadership Program and Winter Hiking Program. This is a trip that she has done before and will be doing again this year - we thought that some in the group might also want to participate.
Here's what Randi wrote about the trip...
This coming March, I signed up for a yoga retreat that I did in 2010 and wanted to extend an invitation to the Randomites to consider joining me. Just as we settle into winter, it's nice to plan a warm weather trip to look forward to… after lots of winter hiking, snowshoeing and skiing of course!
It's a week long retreat in Tulum, Mexico from March 9-16, 2013. Billie Jo Joy from Art & Soul yoga studio in Cambridge is leading the retreat. We will offer 2-3 classes daily and there will be a day off mid-week for excursions. Between classes we have free time to do whatever we want, such as: relax on the beach, socialize, visit local shops/sites, make appointments at the spa, rest. We will stay at the Maya Tulum resort, on the Yucatan Peninsula.
Prices from $1650 up, depending on the type of accomodation you choose. Prices include yoga classes, seven nights accommodation, all meals (except on the excursion day).
THIS LISTING IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY - YOU CAN RSVP HERE TO COMMUNICATE WITH OTHER RANDOMITES WHO MIGHT BE GOING BUT IN ORDER TO REGISTER FOR THIS TRIP YOU MUST TO REGISTER WITH ART & SOUL YOGA.

Billie is an amazing and knowledgable teacher. She is trained in the Iyengar/Kripalu tradition and has been teaching for over 15 years. Her instruction is really unique and includes yogic philosophy, experiential anatomy, and poetry.
She offers a safe and friendly place for practice that balances strength, flexibility, reflection, and spiritual upliftment. If you want to try a class with Billie, she teaches Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at her studio located at 91 Hampshire Street (near Inman Square) in Cambridge, MA.
