What is your hiking experience? (e.g. how long have you been hiking, how often do you get out , where are some of your favorite places, etc.)

Hiking for twenty years or more, like to get out at twice weekly if not more. Favorite places include any place in the Whites or the European Alps.

What type of hikes do you like best? (e.g. day hikes, overnight backpacks, hikes that may involve off-trail "bushwhacking", etc.)

Long day hikes, off trail

What are your hiking goals? (e.g. just like hiking, enjoy being outdoors, looking to finish one of the "lists", etc.)

Have completed the "48". Just like hiking. I am an organizer for the Lakes Region Outdoor Advenure Meet Up Group. Enjoy mentoring members new to hiking and helping them to improve their hiking skills.

What is the most strenuous/difficult hike that you have done? What made it so tough?

Climbing Mt Blanc in the French Alps and climbing the Matterhorn in Switzerland. The Matterhorn was a challenging technical climb.

Do you have any outdoor leadership experience? Would you be interested in organizing and leading your own events with the Random Hikers??

I live in North Conway love to hike; available weekends or with notice during the week.

What Jeffrey is saying about this Meetup Group

Had a great time last night. Beautiful full moon and star lite sky. Trails were a little rough but just added to the challenge. Best of all meeting with new friends and enjoying the moment. We started with twenty skiers and snowshoes’ and ended with a hearty core group of ten. Awesum. If anyone has any other suggestions for activities please let me know and I will be happy to post.
