"52 With a View" to get beginners out on the trails, New England 100 Highest, and a Winter of Sledfests!
I've finished the 48 4000 footers. Washington a few times and dozens of smaller hikes. I'll be leading a hike every 3 to 4 weeks. Favorite places are all over and ever changing! Love the winter hikes with snow covered trees and awesome views.
Intermediate. Though my last seven 4000 footers will be done in Advanced mode! Seven in two trips!! After that I'll do some beginner hikes to get the Newbies out for fun.
I'm turning 50 in November and going to the the 100 Highest from scratch. Second goal is "Zipfy"ing down all 48 which means hitting them all during the winter. Does Owl's Head have a good sledding trail? Can Washington be sledded down from the summit??
The Bonds Traverse for Zealand to Lincoln Woods at 20 miles in one day. What made it hard is I carried 7 liters in case someone ran out of water. Won't do that again as I now have a filter that attaches directly to my Camelback.
I am now an Assistant Organizer so I'd put that as a definite "YES"!! Woo Cah!!
It's great organizing as I've met a lot of nice and fun people. We hike as a group, everyone pulls together, you are with other non-coach potatoes seeing sites that you wouldn't unless you pushed yourself a little. Dinner as a group afterwards is a plus!! Thanks all for making it fun!

Thank you John. Both Hsiu Wen and I had a great time last time! We would love to join you often. However we both are busy preparing for a national conference now. It may take a while for us to be more active to do outings with you guys. Wish you have fun! and hope to see you next time soon. Best, Aiping
Thanks for giving me a butt sled at exit 2 on Sat. We had a blast coming down the trail from Tuckermans Ravine.
Hello John and welcome to our hiking group
Vegan Twin Power!
We missed you and Ann at the Rawluck last night. It wasn't the same without you! I passed on the info about you doing solar work to another gal; I'll try to remember to introduce you at the next event.
Hope to see you in 2 weeks!
John, it was so good to meet you. Thanks for coming on the hike, hope to see you soon.
