What is your hiking experience? (e.g. how long have you been hiking, how often do you get out , where are some of your favorite places, etc.)

Have been hiking pretty regularly for a few years. Try to hike 10-12 peaks a summer and have currently hiked 36 of the 48. I just enjoy being out on a trail, but prefer the NH 4Ks when possible.

What type of hikes do you like best? (e.g. day hikes, overnight backpacks, hikes that may involve off-trail "bushwhacking", etc.)

I like to challenge myself and tend to think each hike presents a new experience and challenge to overcome. Thus far, all my hikes have been day hikes with limited bushwhacking. South Twin has been my favorite hike thus far.

What are your hiking goals? (e.g. just like hiking, enjoy being outdoors, looking to finish one of the "lists", etc.)

My current goal is to finish all 48 of the 4000 foot peaks in NH by summer of 2015. I enjoy meeting new people and tackling new adventures.

What is the most strenuous/difficult hike that you have done? What made it so tough?

A wildcat traverse in late spring 2013 was my most strenuous. Was a hot and humid day and took a lot out of the entire group.

Do you have any outdoor leadership experience? Would you be interested in organizing and leading your own events with the Random Hikers??

Introduction

Love to hike and have hiked 36 of NH 4Ks as of October 2014. Hope to complete my first pass at the list during summer 2015.
