Hello, I love hiking and want to meet others who do so.
7 four-thousand footers this summer. Weekends to the White Mountains. I'd love to do Khatadin and the Adirondacks next :).
I like day hikes that include mountains as well as overnights. I have not done bushwhacking.
I like hiking, would like to make it a challenging hike every time, and accomplish a peak or two on the weekends.
Mt. Washington was the toughest, only due to not having a proper lunch. We took a long loop. It was 11 miles.
Welcome Emilie! I am in DC dropping off business cards at hostels this week but I hope to have a nice event for people to get together and brainstorm soon! I would love to hear your ideas.
Thank you for invite/party Emilie! If you change it to another day I think you may have more members. Many organizations and friends are going to have this event on the same day. What about friday? Sunday is not bad either maybe if you make it an early event. Sincerly Karen
Hey Emilie, welcome to the group! :)
Hi Emilie! Thanks for joining Cambridge Social Music Club. This is a great group to find other players. I just scheduled a meetup, and hope to get to meet you soon! Btw, in the fall we will have a violin duet ensemble at CCAE: http://www.abcsofstrings.com/teaching... (sometimes the teacher offers a small orchestra ensemble too)
I appreciated the deep probing questions you had about the root origins of various ideas, etc. There was one thing you said that I continued to think about. When I mentioned the "moral development" that I suggested may have taken place in the last 500 years, you balked at the term "moral." When I said "Okay, 'ethical' then," you didn't like that either. I was wondering why. Perhaps you could answer my question either here or at [masked].
Glad to have you aboard, Emilie. We have folks of all ability levels joining up, which makes me very happy! Hope to see you out soon :)
