Everyday The Salvation Army is making an impact and helping the world become a little better by changing one life at a time. We can help by serving meals to the homeless individuals.

This Sunday, we will be serving lunch from 11:00 - 1:00 at the Salvation Army Carr P. Collins Social Service Center (accross the street from Parkland Hospital). This location prepares and serves 1200 - 1400 meals daily and houses 400-500 individuals in four residential programs: Substance Abuse for Men & Women; Homeless Shelter for Men; Homeless Shelter for Women & Children and Domestic Violence Shelter. For more info about SA, please go to http://www.salvationa...

We are limited to 30 volunteers, so please update your RSVP as soon as possible if your plans change. We need to allow some time to invite others who may be interested.

Parking is behind their building off on Redfield. Do not park in front of the building as cars will be towed.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE: Before you come to this event, please read the "dress code and map" in the Random Acts' "Files" upper left section. See http://www.volunteeri.... We will be meeting at location #4 on the map.

Kids that are 12 yrs of age and older are welcome to join us.

Become a part of the army behind the Army by serving as a volunteer. Let's devote our time to helping those in need.

Thank you for your continued support of Random Acts!J

After Valorie's event (serving dinner instead of lunch) we went to Ojeda's. Anybody else up for it? If you like Danals, you'll love Ojeda's, though it's a bit more expensive.
