I'm so glad I could have been a part of such a great event. I enjoyed serving food to the families and volunteers that came through. Then helping close down.

The event was so very well organized. I was impressed with how many eventsw were offered to the children and families, and with the positivitiy and professionalism of the individuals who ran the event. I worked on the "station" where children were allowed to ride the horses and it was very rewarding! The kids were so sweet, and they clearly had a wonderful time!

I registered to volunteer few weeks ago, but will have to have surgery this week and won’t be able to make it. How do I let them know that I will not be able to make it? I checked their website, but I’m having issues accessing their ‘Contact Us’ page… I don’t want to just not show… Thanks for help!

Kat, that is what LFK said on their website, "Volunteers must be over 16. Volunteers are not allowed to bring their children to this event.". You can email them at [masked] and ask.

It says to go register on their site, but when I go there it doesn't show any place to register, even if you click registration. Has anyone noticed this?

    April 1, 2013

    • Barb

Thank you, Angel... Yes, LKF is working on it and hopefully will be back soon.
