Texas Ramp Project

This month's project is 42' long for a cancer patient.  Lots of shade here, but make sure you bring drinks.  Dave's leading the build, be nice to him!

So if you're interested........ Sign up and we'll see you there!

What will we be doing?
You'll do whatever amount of light construction you're comfortable with. Our primary tool is a drill, either cordless or corded. We use them to screw everything together, and when we're not using screws we're using bolts that need a hole drilled first. The work occasionally calls for a circular saw or other power tools, but if you're not comfortable or familiar with those, you won't be asked to use them.

What should we bring?
It's very useful, but not required, to bring a drill, either corded (with an extension cord) or cordless. Any other woodworking tools you want to use are quite welcome, but we'll have at least one of everything needed at the build site. If you've tender hands you might want to bring gloves . You're welcome to bring something to drink .

What should we wear?
This is light construction work. Dress comfortably for the outdoors, and expect to get dirty and sweaty.

Where do I find the schedule for next month's project? I'd like to get it on the calendar early so there are no conflicts. I've done this type of construction multiple times and loved it. Count me in!

Build sites are posted a week or two ahead of the date, which is always the first Saturday of the month, Sites will be in Tarrant or Denton Counties. If you want to RSVP and then find you aren't able to attend, you can always change your RSVP.
