Which meetups are wee allowed to bring an 8 year old?

If a location or an event is appropriate for kids, it will say that in the particular event description. Some are based on height for safety reasons (like the rides at amusement parks). Or look for the term 'family-friendly' in the description.

For example:
The FW Food Bank minimum age is 16+.
Salvation Army event says kids 12+.
Ashford Hall states "The residents love kids and dogs" - probably ok for an 8 year old.
Soupmobile sandwich event states "kids 2" taller than the tables" - probably ok for an 8 year old.
