Please vote for the slogan/motto you like the best.

I got this idea to come up with a slogan/motto when one of our members, Any shared her awesome story of doing RAK and receiving RAK in the June, Our monthly Random Acts of Kindness Challenge (RAK-C) event. Then, we got few more ideas for the slogan/motto and we decided to take a poll. Please vote for the one you like the best or feel free to suggest your slogan on the discussion board and I'll add it to the poll. Of course, you guys know when you see R.A.K. it means Random Acts of Kindness. In future if we want to print the slogan that wins this poll, on T-shirts or mugs (or whatever), the words “Random Acts of Kindness Meetup Group,” would appear either in small letters under the slogan or in somewhat larger letters on the back of the shirt or mug, followed by our URL, Thank you to Tony and Any for their valuable input, suggestions and ideas and above all their spirit and enthusiasm in doing RAK's!! Thanks to all fellow RAK members too! Mary.

Day for Cedar Hill nursing home

Debi, the former activities director for Ashford Hall, has asked us to start a meetup at her new nursing home (224 W. Pleasant Run Road, Cedar Hill, 75104). Which day and time would work for you? Select all that apply. Ashford Hall is the first Sunday of the month, so I'll leave that choice off.

Ashford Hall July 2010 date

Bonjour fellow RAK members: As you may know, we visit our senior friends at Ashford Hall the first Sunday of each month. In July that will be the 4th and since that's a holiday I don't know how many volunteers (or residents) would be there. Additionally, there is an idea posted, "Cruise for a Cause," on July 4. 16 of our members have already saluted it and may be planning to go, which further dents the volunteer base for the date. As such I thought it might be a good idea to postpone until July 11. I called Ashford Hall yesterday but unfortunately, the activities director is out on vacation so I don't know if the 11th is already covered by another group. Rather than wait for that reply on Monday and then poll at the last moment, I'll send this now. I have set this up so that you can check all that apply. If you don't plan to attend either date, simply don't vote. Thanks for all you do, ~Dave AO for RAK

Where would you like to eat after AH on Sunday, Aug 2?

Eating afterward is optional, of course, but always a lot of fun. You can vote for all that you like. Danals: Mariscos 2000: Bangkok Orchid:

Where should we go to eat after NTFB on 11/20?

We've had some suggestions...what sounds good? I set this so you could choose multiple locations, so pick everything that suits you.
