I am writing on behalf of Emmy, whom many of you in the community know. She is looking towards the Denver raw food community for support in assisting her 95 year old raw food mother for a few days while Emmy is out of town.
Emmy's mom, Carrie, is 95 years old and is a raw foodie! She doesn't take drugs, just vitamins. Carrie has lived to see women get their rights to vote, witnessed World War I & II, the Korean War, Viet Nam War, The War in Boznia, Afganastan and the current War in Iraq......up thru 911 as she was living in NYC at the time. Can you imagine walking thru history for that period of time yourself? Emmy says she is pretty amazing!
Anyway, Emmy is hoping that a few people can stop by to say hello and bring a dish to share with Carrie. Lunch can be fun & simple -- bring what you feel moved to share. Please be mindful that she has the following food allergies which include: Wheat products or gluten, dairy products, corn, potatoes, mushrooms, alcohol and refined sugar.
Carrie lives in Cherry Creek around 1st and Adams; dates available for food sharing are: May 9,10, 12,13, & 14
If you feel inspired to share a meal with Carrie, shoot me an e-mail back and I will get you in touch with Emmy to work out the details. Thanks to everyone who can chip in!
