Hi Amy! I am in the process of moving to Santa Barbara, and am looking forward to meeting you. I have been mostly raw since August of last year, and have had tremendous "support" from all of the wonderful resources (i.e., restaurants and raw food services)here in Chicago. I have to admit being a bit freaked out by the lack of raw food restaurants in the Santa Barbara area (*none,* at least that I could find online). In any case, I just wanted to reach out and say hello, and that I really look forward to meeting you and other members of the raw vegan community.

Hi Maria, You will be fine here. The amazing produce that we have in Paradise makes up for any raw food resources that we are lacking. There are a variety of raw restaurants in the Los Angeles area but that's a long drive from here. I'm sure we'll be getting some soon. Let me know when you arrive. I look forward to meeting you, too!
