Leadbetter Beach Potluck: Kid Friendly Foods Theme

We'll find a free picnic table at Leadbetter Beach and enjoy the afternoon. Feel free to bring things like picnic blanket, beach towel, musical instruments, beach toys; plan to take a beach walk or whatever you like, this is an unstructured casual stop-in-as-you-like event from 2 until at least 5 PM. The theme this month is "Kid Friendly Raw Foods", so be sure to bring your whole family and invite your friends with kids too.

Here's some books we found that feature kid friendly raw foods if you need ideas on what to bring:
Jinjee & Storm's Garden Diet E-Book
Monkey Mike's Raw Food Kitchen: An Uncook Book for Kids
Raw Kids Recipes
Raw Kids
Baby Greens

Elizabeth Yossem-Guy (healthykidscook.com) will be bringing raw, organic ingredients for kids (and adults) to assemble raw nori rolls. She asks that you donate $3-4 per roll.

I am part of Goleta Valley Art Assoiation Artist Tour on that day from 10 to 5 pm. My paintings will be on display at 547 Windsor Ave. in Goleta. I may not be able to take time off from the show to manage joining the pot luck. Have a great time. Hope some of my raw food friends can come to the studio tour.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
