Forks over Knives POTLUCK "Home Viewing"

I'm hosting a Forks over Knives Movie Viewing (with POTLUCK) on Saturday, 17 November.

This is kind of a "kick-off" for my non-profit organization "LAST HEART ATTACK NUTRITION" that I recently order to educate people on the benefits of a Vegan Diet and the terrible obesity and health issues that are facing the United States.

Where: Rick and Sylvia’s House (297 Brentwood Way, Goleta, CA)

When: Saturday, 17 November

Please arrive between 5:00 - 6:00 PM for drinks and vegan snacks.

The Movie begins at 6:00 PM!

FORKS OVER KNIVES examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the degenerative diseases that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting our present menu of animal-based and processed foods. The major storyline in the film traces the personal journeys of a pair of pioneering yet under-appreciated researchers, Dr. T. Colin Campbell and Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn.

Why? Be inspired by critically acclaimed
documentary, and join the growing
movement of people who would like to take back control of their lives – by improving their
health with fruits and veggies.

Could it be there’s a single solution to most of the chronic diseases that we face in the USA? A solution so comprehensive, but so straightforward, that it’s mind-boggling that more of us haven’t taken it seriously?

***Note: Parking is "very sketchy" on my street. I have room for 3 cars in my driveway - but others will have to park on the the beginning of Brentwood or on Evergreen (immediately before or after the turn onto the Brentwood Cul-de-Sac).

I believe I have seen this film already and it is rather disturbing. If the pot luck is after the film, I could come late. Otherwise, count me out.
