Held on the third Saturday of each month. Come have a healthy and fun night out! Enjoy great live food, have fun, and share information with interesting, like-minded friends. A raw, vegan dish, large enough to share with at least 8 people, and a serving utensil are required. Please take the time to make a dish; bringing a grocery store veggie, fruit, or nut tray; dumping food from a bag, box, or jar; bringing unprepared loose produce only are not acceptable. (Please see our potluck FAQ.)

LET'S AVOID GMOS AND NANOTECHNOLOGY IN OUR FOOD

Most people know by now that non-organic food is grown with pesticides and herbicides. But did you know about 80% to 90% of food in conventional grocery stores now also has genetically modified (genetically engineered) components? Even some produce has nanoparticles on it as a preservative. Please read our FAQ to avoid GMOs and nanotechnology in food.

Enjoyed the evening very much. While I believe one speaker is enough at a Pot Luck, the two presenters, Suzanne Ansel and Cindy Rhatigan, managed to be informative as well as brief. Cindy's talk on food combining contained really important information for newcomers and appealed to old timers, who may not have given much thought to the subject or could use the reminders. It was a well-organized talk and she presented it in a charming manner that caught our attention. Suzanne's discussion of fermented foods and beverages was also presented well. Very enjoyable and informative. High fives to both of them!

It was great to see so many people "into" eating raw and/or healthy
Everyone was very friendly and inclusive towards this first timer.

Beginning this new year I propose that we make our gatherings informative...not so much lectures...more of a sharing (with a time limit!) The 19th I plan on talking about cultured foods...Kombucha/Kefir/Sauerkraut..
