Hello, my name is Micah Intrator & I am a Raw Chocolatier from Chapel Hill, N.C.
I love to travel, teach, and share in the nutritious goodness of gourmet, raw, vegan chocolate packed with superfoods.
I'll be in Santa Monica visiting family and staying at my cousin's LEED platinum green home (the venue for this event).
In the recent past I've enjoyed successful workshops across Europe (Dublin, London, Zurich & Paris) and a few in the States. My workshops how been well received. You can read testimonials below from past events.
I've yet to reach the wonderful west coast with my workshops. (I'm also looking forward to trying out many of the raw food restaurants that have popped up since I used to live in Venice in the early 2000s.)

WHAT WILL YOU BE LEARNING AT THIS WORKSHOP?
In this hands-on workshop, you'll be discovering the artful technique of making richly-flavored, creamy-textured raw chocolates infused with high-quality organic & nutritious superfoods.
These ingredients are packed with so many vitamins, I have to put them on a separate page of my website (Superfoods Benefits Page).
When Raw, Unprocessed Cacao is warmed up to liquid and mixed by hand with coconut oil, maca, coconut nectar, and other natural ingredients, an amazing & divine chocolate is created!
(Even in the world of "raw chocolate" my chocolates are quite unique due to the ratios of coconut oil, and other ingredients I use.)
These will taste (and melt in your mouth) unlike any chocolate you've ever had. 15-30 minutes after the first batch is made, we'll be able to sample the delicious creations.
Each workshop is comprised of hands-on training, (optional you may sit and watch, or stand and participate) where you'll learn the base recipe for which all of Chocolate Therapie's flavors are created from. From there, we elaborate into at least 2-3 top flavors.
My goal is to show you how easy it can be to create healthy & tasty sweets for you, your family and friends. With the upcoming holidays, you'll be like a magician-from-space introducing these new sweet'n'healthy (guilt-free and gluten-free) treats to people.
I aim to source ingredients that you can find locally and show you ways to make the chocolates with simple inexpensive kitchen tools. I'm happy to share my high-quality sources for superfoods with you as well.
Additionally after the workshop, you'll be emailed a Recipe Book of all 6 flavors Chocolate Therapie creates. The end of the E-book contains the Cashew Milk-Based Chocolate Chip Milkshake recipe for which originally inspired my unique chocolates.

At my cousin's LivingHome, which was built by his company, www.livinghomes.net.
The prefabricated home was designed by Ray Kappe and was assembled in 8 hours. It was the first home in the nation to be certified LEED Platinum.
My cousin, Steve Glenn, entertains here often and it's a very conducive space for events.
HOW MUCH IS THIS WORKSHOP?
The cost for the workshop is $30.
Because there's a limited capacity for the space *(40-50 people), I want to ensure people who say they want to come, do indeed show up. So I'm asking people to pay in advance to secure their spot.
This event will be advertised through other channels as well, so I do believe it'll fill up quickly. I'll update my website with the spaces left as best I can.
