Raw Food Class w/Adam Lewis of House of the Sun: 2/22, 10am-3pm

Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to let the people in Rawfood Land about a great opportunity. Adam Lewis of House of the Sun will be a teaching raw food class on February 22nd, from 10am to 3pm.

In these events, Adam will be teaching the class in three parts:  a) Various dehydration techniques, b) oil and vinegar-based dressings, and c) raw wraps.  It's a very hands-on, interactive class.  Please come with questions.  You'll learn how to balance fats and acids.  There will be no specific recipes taught, but you'll learn about the techniques and science behind raw food prep, which will be even more useful in the long run.  You'll also be eating quite a bit - perhaps a smoothie, Rawco and a wrap will be on the menu.

The class is $75.

Two More Workshops Planned     

Hello Everyone!!      

If you are interested in learning some basic and advanced culinary skills here is a chance to do so!  We are having a workshop this Saturday (February 22nd) and one more on March 29th.  As we head into spring and summer, we will start more farmers' markets so these will most likely be the last two for a while.  Our first three were all smashing successes.  They all filled up and we got rave reviews from everyone that attended.  A review from a recent participant start as such....."Hi Adam, thank you so much for sharing your good vibrations.  Your class and space was so full of pure intentions - you fed my soul as well as my body yesterday!"     

Getting solid, useful information into the minds of the participants is my number one goal.  The fun, food and connections are icing on the raw, vegan cake!!   

So far we are looking at doing some chocolate work, some fermented seed cheeses and perhaps a veggie ferment.  Collard wraps, dressings, sauces and dehydration will also be covered.  I also encourage input on what you would like to learn and we will cover those things as well!
