1st Annual Virginia City, NV Wild Horse Faire

Wild Horse Faire
Festivities begin at 9:00am with the opening of the exhibits and a pancake breakfast at 10:00am, followed by a parade at 12:00pm with Lance Gilman, Storey County Commissioner, as the Grand Marshal, the Northern Nevada Coalition Color Guard, the Mustang Car Club of Reno, and Virginia City's own "601 Committee". Next at 2:00pm, they'll be a technical large animal rescue demonstration and examples of wild horse gentling techniques. At 4:30pm, the nighttime extravaganza, hosted by Eddie Floyd and Wild Willy, kicks off with a native American percussion demonstration and the Dayton Area Elementary School Choir. The evening performances begin with Willis Lamm and the Mountain Outlaw Band, followed by All Hat No Cattle, the Mountain Girls, Lacy J. Dalton and Dale Poune, and concluding with David John and the Comstock Cowboys.

There is no charge to walk around and visit the 1st Annual Virginia City, NV Wild Horse Faire, including seeing actual wild horses, for a full day of family fun and excitement. However, we highly encourage you to visit the various food and beverage booths and other activities as many of these vendors will be donating a portion of their proceeds toward our fundraising effort. We also encourage you to purchase tickets for the pancake breakfast and the Benefit Concert. There'll also be a raffle and silent auction.

Your can also purchase raffle tickets and make donations online. Donations are also gladly accepted and appreciated.
