Raw Food Pot Luck Shawnee KS Natural Grocers

WE WILL BE IN THE KITCHEN THIS TIME !!!.....all the way to the back of the store.

Hello Fellow Fruit and Veggie Lovers,

You do not need to be a "raw vegan to attend" but your food does need to be. :)

Please bring a raw vegan dish to share for each adult 12 and over in your family that will serve 10 or more. Please also bring your recipe to share and a serving utensil as well ...

as your own service. (plate, fork, napkin, water bottle or cup) We try to keep these events as green as possible.

If you are new and you are unsure what to bring just come or bring some fruit or veggies cut up and ready to eat. :) look up raw vegan recipes on google or join our very active Facebook group

http://www.facebook.com/groups/KCRAWFU/

and ask for help there.

We are here to support you in adding more raw foods to your diet!

What Food Do I Bring?

1. Please bring a raw vegan dish that will feed 10-12 people.

2. Please make sure your dish is as organic as possible.

3. Please make a list of ingredients (bring copies of your recipe if you wish to share with others.YUM!). The reason we ask this is that some people have allergies to specific ingredients.

4. Please bring serving utensils for your dish.

What Else Do I Need To Bring?

1. Please bring you own plate, silverware, glass/cup, bowl, and beverage for yourself. (We will provide pure water.)

2. A great attitude and willingness to meet and interact with wonderful people.

3. A SMILE

I totally oppose the use of this media by members of the raw food potluck group to spout off about their political frustrations! This is totally inappropriate! We are here to share our love of pure, healthy food and to support everyone in their pursuit of a richer lifestyle. We/I would appreciate it if you would please refrain from all political references/opinions in the future! Thank you very much!

I agree, stay in focus, it's about food not politics!

We're brand new and aren't even sure what we might bring? Any advice for newcomers?

I'm very interested in raw foods, but weekends are going to be impossible since we've bought this farm. Anyone interested in helping us grow some of this? We have plenty of room if you want to plant stuff and harvest it later!

Karl: Cracked ribs doing better, after only 3 weeks, and not using wheelchair or walker most of time now. On crutches now, and hope to be back to using cane - if necessary - soon. Doctor said, "4 to 8 weeks, but could be longer." But usually heal fast if I can make myself do the bed rest - which usually is not that hard to do at first - and that sedentary crap. Prefer to go 24/7 except for naps, and be in the music and night clubs 7 days a week, so not being mobile is a pain in the keister. roflmfao Knuckleheads is too packed and crowded, so going to miss those great music performances today also. Raining like hell here now, cleaning and nourishing the Earth. The ducks, flowers, grass, and us Nature freaks luv it. Going to kickback, and watch some Hulu Plus. roflmfao Did you make it to the regular Friday "Howl At The Moon" party night?

Not the first time I've missed a good thing, Karl. roflmfao

Give my portion of the Pot Luck to a disadvantaged unemployed single mother's hungry child, who the Repukelican scum politicians are denying unemployment benefits she and many others need to keep their house and feed their families. These sick right wing crooks, and religious hypocrite politicians who Jesus would send to hell, have plenty of benefits for their rich and greedy millionaire supporters, and also the corrupt Corporations who don't need them, but not for the working poor who do need help. The rich and greedy, and 1% like the Koch brothers buy free speech to lie and distort the truth as FalseNews does (https://www.youtube.co...).

Enjoy! Plan on seeing you tomorrow at your place for the other Pot Luck. Resting up, and going to try and go to the FFFS free Alice Cooper tribute Meetup at 8 PM (http://www.meetup.com...).

      Walk in Peace.
