I think you made me famous!

I?m thinking of compiling a listing of all my ?pot luck? recipes along with other bits of information like why I use certain ingredients and not others, how I make my water and other bits of wisdom that I have gathered.

Putting it all in one place will help me remember what I have already made. I have got quite a few recipes now that I have invented from sheer necessity and recipes that I have modified to suit myself based on what I have read and heard in interviews ? and what tastes good to me. And this collection of recipes might be interesting to others.

I?ll make it available to everyone through the meetup.

Sunflower Jewel Cookies

1/2 c pure organic maple syrup
1/2 c organic tahini
1 1/2 c rolled oats
1/3 c sunflower seeds
1/3 c raisins
1/2 t cinnamon

Mix together and dehydrate 12 hours at 105*.

Easy Kim Chee Salad
The Complete Book of Raw Food

1 med head Napa cabbage
1 leek chopped
3 carrots, peeled and grated
1 c cilantro leaves
2 T grated ginger
4 cloves garlic, pressed
1 T Celtic salt
1/4 c lemon juice
1/4 c dates
3 T olive oil
1 t cayenne

Mix everything well in a bowl. Adjust spices to tast and let salad sit for 1 hour, until the cabbage wilts. This salad will keep in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Raw Apple Pie
By Jinjee and Storm Talifero

Crust:
1 c almonds, soaked for 4-6 hours
pinch Celtic salt
1/8 c olive oil

Filling:
4 apples, cored but not peeled
4 dates, pitted
1 t Flaxseed oil
pinch Celtic salt
1 t cinnamon

To make the crust, blend almonds in Cuisinart or blender until they turn to powder, add the sea salt and olive oil. Blend well, and spoon into pie dish.
To make the filling, blend apples, dates, flaxseed oil and salt.
(Note: Added a little raw agave nectar for sweetness. Blend 1/2 the apple with other ingredients, then pulse in other 1/2 for chunkier filling.)

Fresh Pasta Salad

Zucchini (Spiralizer)
Tomatoes
Basil
Extra virgin olive oil
Salt & Pepper

Granola

1 c flax seed, soaked 8 hours
3 T raw honey
1/2 c cranberries
1/2 sultan raisins
1/2 c sunflower seeds
1/2 c coconut
1/4 c cinnamon
1 t vanilla
pinch Celtic salt

Mix and dehydrate nice and thick for 12-24 hours until crunch. Cut into squares or rectangles.

French Toast
