dates. kale chips. smoothies. vibrant salads.
For the past 7 years, I've enjoyed a diet of only raw fruits and vegetables for the month of January; after that, I try to incorporate at least one raw meal/snack per day. I'd like to give raw foods more of a starring role in my food choices for the rest of the year.
When I eat raw I have more energy and I get comments on how great my skin looks. My goal is to be better at loving myself by feeding my body healthy, raw foods.
I do have a sweet tooth, so I like to make raw desserts, but I just purchased a Vitamix, so I've started juicing more and making healthy beverages.
When I discover something good, I'm not afraid to share my knowledge with others. I'm seeking to be an active part of a healthy community.
I'm a relatively new vegetarian (since May 2013) who enjoys raw vegan foods.
