Tell us a little about yourself. Are you new to raw food, or is it your lifestyle? Do you have a favorite raw recipe to share?

I am currently 75% raw, my husband Ryan (who also wants to join but isn't signed up on here yet) is doing a 30 day raw cleanse. I usually have one large veg/fruit juice, one veg/fruit/coconut milk smoothie, and one large mixed salad a day with some soft boiled eggs. When I do eat processed foods it's organic and gluten free. We do not have property yet to plant a garden again, but plan to by next year and in the meantime will likely join up with Worden farm again this year. Our son eats various things, but is more fruitarian in nature...we have to trick him to eat more vegetables all of a sudden even though it wasn't a problem when he was younger. We are interested in wild edibles, organic gardening, outdoor sports/water sports, horseback riding and travel. For a favorite raw recipe...we don't do it as often, but love making banana jerky in the dehydrator. Peel em, flatten em, and dehydrate for approx 22-24 hrs and we have a great chewy, sweet snack that lasts for about a week...:)

Introduction

My husband Ryan & I are parents to one adorable almost 3 year old, and we've got one more little boy coming out soon. We ate much more organic and raw living in Greenville, SC for awhile, returned to FL, fell off & are recently back on bandwagon. :)
