I'm not new to raw-food, and most of what Dave had to say was already known to me so one might think I'd find it boring - NOT SO! Dave is a rock star ---er rawk star, lol--- and I found his story very interesting. And like a good movie where you know the ending, but watch with interest anyway, so I listened intently to the stories of shocked doctors, and repeated testing because the results just couldn't be correct - he just couldn't be cured! etc. His down-to earth demeanor was refreshing, and he probably could use a few public-speaking suggestions like not to rely so much on his photo as a prop, or maybe going off on too many tangents, but this only added to the sincerity of his passion. I have pounds and pounds of fresh wheatgrass in my garden and was planning on bringing him some but didn't. Wished I had because I know he would have loved it. I admire what he is doing by "shouting out the truth from the rooftops!" and smiled most of the way home. Thanks Dave!

Hey, thanks for sharing that, Sandie. I did understand that (from this lecture) that he ran out of his drug and therefore had the stroke, but what I didn't know was the info about the juice bar around the corner etc. Thanks for sharing that tidbit. Cool. Now, I wrote a little dissertation for those who didn't make it, but can't seem to find it. It was when I responded about the meetup. Hmmmm.

Since I heard Dave's lecture last year, I hope to clarify a few things that seemed to get lost tonight. (1). He had suffered from the 6 huge toxic pus sacks at the beginning during the worse of his health and his morbid obesity. Not when he was in the hospital with his stroke. (2). He had been on one last prescription drug that he was still dependent upon when he was out of town unexpectedly and ran out of his prescription. His cardiologist would not renew it without him coming to the office (Dave was out of state). Without the drug, Dave suffered a stroke. (3). While he was in the hospital, an organic juice bar was right around the corner and when they found out that Dave the Raw Food Trucker was in the hospital, they supplied him with fresh juices daily, and the nurses hid them in a cooler at the nurses station so the doctors couldn't see them! Dave has friends everywhere around the world.

I believe he is charging $10 per person to help cover traveling expenses. But he will turn no one away who needs to hear his message. Yes, please contact Mattie to let her know you are attending at[masked]
