Are you currently working in a position where you are reaching out to the online Hispanic / Latino Community?

I have recently returned from Ecuador where I lived and worked from January 2010 to late October 2012. In Ecuador, I assisted indigenous organizations and communities in developing online communications strategies. In particular, I worked with the Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities of Ecuador CONAIE, The Kichwa People of Sarayaku, and Sapara Nation. My goal was to teach communications specialists from these indigenous organizations to manage their own websites so that they could tell their stories in their own words. Although I am now in the US, I am still engaged with these organizations in Ecuador. I would love to continue to develop digital media and storytelling skills so that I can continue to share ideas and collaborate with my friends and former colleagues in Ecuador.

With respect to reaching Latinos online, what topics are you most interested in? (copywriting, technology, localization, culture, etc.)

culture, storytelling, website content management, photography, technology, human rights issues, women's rights.
