Reading and open-mic

The location will change (to somewhere that exists).

First bash, let's see how this works out. One or two invited poets will each read for 10 minutes, then there'll be half-time, then the open-mic. Bring along your ears, your wallets (to buy books and beer), and your poetry.

I've no clue about the number of people. It's one of the things that put me off organising something here in Lux for a while. Creating a new audience from scratch is something I've not done before. I don't expect huge numbers; this is a small city in a small, non-anglophone, country. But it is an international city, so there have to be some people who might be interested. Fortunately, I do know a couple of big names, so if I can kick off a reading series, I may be able to pull someone in to make the series work reasonably well.

i suggest BBT-Chaud on 3, RUE DE CURE.. they have shisha and drinks....(poetic combination) , plus they have agreed to host poetry readings by me...(this is not mine, that is yet to come) but might be a convenient place as its close to the central town either ways

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
