Introduction
I am a high school English teacher who loves to read and watch movies. I have been looking for a book club to join and this one sounds fun.
Name a couple of books that you have really loved and are interested in reading in the future
I love the Janet Evanovich books. They make me laugh out loud which is rare for a book to do. I love the classics which is helpful in teaching AP English. I read many different types of books.
Do you like the idea of being flexible so we can choose making a night of it and spend some money on dinner to an informal gathering at a local coffee shop or park or even a members home?
It sound fun to do different things at each meeting.
What are you looking for in a book club? Any pet peeves?
I am looking for good reading suggestions and people to discuss books with.
Will you be willing to donate towards the Meetup montly dues? It's usually a whole dollar!
As long as the monthly dues are not too costly.

My husband is in town this weekend and may go also, but we can still carpool. How about meeting at Central Market around 2:30 PM? Or maybe in front of the bookstore across from CM?

Great! I think there may be several of us who can carpool from West FW when we're meeting in Arlington area. How about we post a spot to all meet the week before the meet-up? Maybe Central Market on I-30 and Hulen?
