John: I think it's time for you to go. I've had enough of your threats. I'm not changing the name b/c I'm a Democrat. Further, you haven't paid $1 in membership dues. Take care.

And you're not being productive by threatening me on my own Meetup.

John: Ron Paul is the only candidate - Democrat or Republican - that truly defends the 99%. In order to pay for the DoD budget, Wall St must package our debt and borrow money and when the US can't borrow anymore (which is where we are), we print the money which results in devaluation. A currency's destruction hurts poor and middle class people more than anybody. Both Democratic and Republican administrations promote corporatist policies albeit w/ different rhetoric. Ron Paul is the exception.

Get a life, John. And while you're at it, learn about freedom, individual responsibility and what it means. I don't have time for soap opera drama. Take care.

John: Exactly how much in membership dues have you paid to this group? $0. I pay $150 a year to Meetup. I'll call the group whatever I want. I'm a Democrat who loves Ron Paul. If you don't like it, leave the group.

As a Democrat, I'm confused as to why my Party is expanding the policies of the Bush administration. I actually believe in ending foreign occupations and corporate welfare. Unfortunately, Ron Paul is the only candidate saying anything close to what the Democrats said throughout Bush's admin. So, many of us have become "Blue Republicans." It's a movement that encourages Democrats to join the GOP for "one year only" to support Ron Paul in the GOP presidential primary. Thanks and best wishes!
