Introduction

Hi! I'm cha, and I am amazed that this country re-elected Bush. I really hope intelligent people in this country can take more of an interest in politics and vote for someone who has the interest of our society close to their heart - vote Obama!

As a member you are required to rsvp to the meetups yes, no or maybe. You are required to attend or participate in an event or activity at least once a year. You may be asked pay membership dues to defray costs. Are you willing to do this?

What are you interested in having as part of the agenda at meetups? What activities do you suggest that we have which will promote democratic candidates and ideals?

im kind of new to this, but I would like to meet other people who are active and still have faith in democracy.

What are your reasons for seeking membership in this club? Is there a skill, or volunteerism you can bring to the Party and this meetup?

I can only bring my spirit. I am making an effort to educate myself / others about our political system and our choices in 2008. It kills our stature when we put in office pro wrestlers, actors and other dummies with name recog and little substance.

I am 41yo originally from Colorado, but lived west coast, hawaii, asia, europe and now NY. I have only been casually interested in politics, but after being embarrassed for 7 years, I realize how important it is to be active in our democracy.
