Joel's professional background is in high tech marketing and consumer public relations and he has been working in marketing and communications for nearly ten years, most recently at Prudential Northwest Properties in Portland, Oregon.

In 2007 he joined the Inman News organization where he is helping developing many of their social media and next generation web initiatives.

Joel is also the author behind the hugely successful FutureofRealEstateMarketing.com which is a powerful force in the real estate blogging world.
